CoachForYou was founded by Paul Teven and Patrice Capitant to address their common need to provide the best to their clients. Both pioneers in their previous careers, Paul and Patrice are used to going beyond the accepted limits to create something that transcend what existed before their times. They are used to following a vision that is not possible and making it possible by creating new ways that work.
Paul and Patrice’s vision is affordable and effective coaching to all that need it.
To achieve this, they are integrating within their coaching practice tools that have been proven to work in somewhat similar areas such as psychology or spiritual development and personal growth. They are also integrating the new communication and social media technologies to reduce cost, create wider outreach and enable innovation.
Spontaneous writing is one of the tools they are using. The power of writing has been studied by James Pennebaker, a psychologist from the University of Texas at Austin described in his 2004 book “Writing to Heal: A Guided Journal for Recovering from Trauma and Emotional Upheaval.” Oakland, CA: New Harbinger Press. Many others have used the writing tool in different environments. Paul and Patrice have studied and practiced many variations of the writing tool and settled on what they call Spontaneous Writing.
Spontaneous Writing combines the healing properties described by Pennebaker with the ability to access our true self and bypass all the filters and limitations we have created to satisfy mis-perceptions or situations that are not present anymore. It is a way to the soul, a way to truly discover ourselves and to create a life in line with who we are.
Paul and Patrice have also integrated other “healing” art forms to move away from the more judging, more restricting left brain and favor talking to the soul through the right brain.
The clients of CoachForYou.com are taught to use the tools and to practice them in many different situations so that they end up becoming their own coaches. They soon have no need for Paul and Patrice: coaching becomes affordable and Paul and Patrice are making their vision more real.
